Nicholas Coblence
Nicholas Coblence is a marketing director, brand strategist, and social entrepreneur. He has advised luxury fashion brands and arts institutions in areas of brand building, marketing strategy and positioning, and consumer insights. With a masters degree in arts administration from Columbia University, his unique blend of artistic and marketing know-how allows him to help a diverse array of brands stay relevant in today’s market.
With a focus on the business of luxury he has assisted brands including Bill Blass, Assouline, Christie’s, Burberry, Chanel, Net-A-Porter, and others, while his work in arts administration and management has been with the likes of Ashes and Snow, MoMA, The Guggenheim and the Batsheva Dance Company in Israel.
More recently, Nicholas founded Cords for Music, which sells unique jewelry to raise money for music education, and IzzyGear, a phone case designed to ease picture taking of newborns.
Alongside his entrepreneurial work, he continues to help brands locate the blend of creativity, innovation, and clear messaging that are essential to stand out in today’s world.
